What I Stand For
Creating a Connected and Resilient Tomorrow
- Continuing to advocate for safer, well maintained rural roads and safer highway access.
- Working towards high-speed internet access for all rural residents and businesses, expanding services to underserved areas.
Strengthening the Municipality for Future Generations
- Continued advocacy for new schools, including a new regional high school south of Highway 1.
- Drive enhanced recreational facilities and programs.
Maintaining Rural and Country Residential Lifestyles
- Advocate for appropriate zoning and permitting decisions.
- Provide in-municipality living options for all life stages – supporting young adults seeking independence to mature adults transitioning or downsizing from farms, acreages, and urban homes.
What I’ve Done
To Create a Connected and Resilient Tomorrow
- Completed 622 Grid clay capping and South Service Road (Nutrien) paving projects, improving safety, accessibility and connectivity.
- Progressed rural and rural subdivision civic addressing, now 25% complete, for faster emergency response, with completion in 2025.
- Spearheaded the Voyent Alert system, reaching 700+ subscribers in under a year, targeting 2000 in 2025.
To Strengthen the Municipality for Future Generations
- Built relationships with neighbouring municipalities to advocate for new schools, including new elementary schools, and a new regional high school south of Highway 1.
- Chair of the Communication, Arts, Recreation, and Culture Committee, working to enhance recreational infrastructure and community initiatives, and led the first annual Rock’N Field celebrating our rural roots.
To Maintain Rural and Country Residential Lifestyles
- Led rezoning decisions that protected rural heritage and ensured that growth is managed effectively for agriculture producers and rural residents.
- Championed dust control cost-sharing and drainage solutions. As Administration Committee Chair, advanced noxious weed management bylaws.

Why I’m Committed To Our Future
I’m a farm kid from the RM, now living on an acreage on the family farm. I am deeply committed to ensuring our municipality thrives. I entered local politics to make a difference. My focus is on fair access to services, inclusive governance, and smart growth. With a business degree and 35 years of professional experience and now as a self-employed business consultant, I’m dedicated to employing these skills to ensure our municipality’s future.
